推特上有位加拿大多伦多人黄维克，发了许多学英语的系列推文。其中有不少免费资源，也有一些付费 App，对学英语应该会有帮助。
我这里也介绍两个学英语的资源：
NPR 的新闻节目与时事相接，在这里能听到关于美国和世界上正在发生的事，同时他们也有一些轻娱乐节目，尤其周末的一些节目，比如 This American Life, Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, Fresh Air, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!，等等。NPR 主持人的发音相对都比较标准、平缓，内容平和，既可以帮助了解时事新闻，又能帮助学习英语。其他在很多 NPR 广播站播放的节目还有 The Moth Radio 和 Snap Judgment -- 这两个是讲故事的节目，讲故事的人都是各行各业的普通美国人。
TED 的节目就五花八门，主要是演讲形式的视频，但基本都围绕这个项目的三个主题：技术、娱乐、设计。
这两个资源都可以在他们的网站上直接使用，但他们也都提供自己的 App，或者可以在其他软件上播放。使用他们的网站有一个好处，就是他们都把文本发表在网上，并且与语音对接，你听到什么地方，网页上跟着把文字给你标注出来。这样你如有没听懂的地方，可以直接点击文字，回到那句话的开头去重放。
学英语，当然没有什么捷径。多听、多说，是最好的方法。
