UBC（加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学）是加拿大西部的一所高等学府，主校区地处温哥华城市海边。British Columbia 简称 BC 省，所以 UBC 又被广东话简称为“卑诗大学”。
据一位推主 Barbara Aboagye介绍，目前该校 200 多位教职人员，在招收各学科的研究生，专业包括法律、地理、工程、社会科学、医科、数学，等等，许多科目包含研究项目，因此会有不少获得奖学金的机会。推主还发表了 YouTube 视频，介绍了如何向从未谋面的教授们写信毛遂自荐。
这位推主还搜集了其他许多国家大学 700 多项奖学金，包含各种博、硕研究生项目。
