这些是前任 Google 招聘官 Nolan Church 对记者说的。他现在是一家薪资数据公司 FairComp 的 CEO。
Nolan 说，第一条让面试者一听就觉得你这人胡扯、不实在。从雇人者的角度，公司并不需要你“完美”，而是希望你与公司一同成长。作为面试官，他更希望你能说说你犯过什么错误，你从中学到了什么，之后你有什么改进。这样你才显得更诚实，同时表现出你个人有学习与进步的空间。
应聘面试的时候，不要说以前同学、同事、上级、老板的坏话，这些话有可能听起来会被理解为“推卸责任”，哪怕这种可能性很小。作为面试官，期望未来的同事对自己有清醒的认知，勇于承担责任，有足够的谦卑承认自己的不足，有错误的时候能够调整自己的思维模式去改正。
“我不知道”……这句话要尽量避免，不可避免的时候，可以用“……but"加以承接，而不是”不知道“就完了。一方面，面对一个不知道答案的问题，你可以分析问题的本身，诚实地表达你会采取什么方法、如何入手去寻求解决方案。另一方面，即使当时没有自己满意的答复，也可以表达自己会主动、且有能力学习解决问题所需要的技能。
